Claudias Toy Poodles

The following is a contractual agreement between Claudias Toy Poodles hereafter referred to as "Seller" and ___________________, hereafter referred to as the "Purchaser".

The Seller herby sells to the Purchaser one male/female Toy Poodle puppy, born ______________, to litter registration #_________, in accordance with the terms of this contract.

1. The Seller will register the litter with AKC and provide the appropriate registration papers to the Purchaser with limited/full registration rights. The Purchaser understands that registration of the puppy and all costs involved with registration are the full responsibility of the Purchaser.

2. The Seller guarantees that the puppy is in good health on the date of delivery.

3. The Seller provides the Purchaser with certificates that list all vaccines and de-worming medications administered to the animal by my veterinarian. (All my dogs are vet-checked before they leave the house. (Please feel free to call my veterinarian at 706 863 8830)

4. The Purchaser has to bring the puppy to a licensed veterinarian in 48 hours (weekends the Monday following). In the event that the consumer purchases the animal and the veterinarian finds it to have been unfit for purchase, the consumer must notify the Breeder within 2 business days of the veterinarian’s determination that the animal was unfit. The consumer has the right to keep or exchange the animal .

5. The Seller guarantees that to the best of Claudias Toy Poodles knowledge, that the puppy is free of hereditary defects. Should a veterinarian find a hereditary or congenital disorder within one year from date of birth, you must supply breeder within 10 days of diagnosis, your veterinarian’s written report along with the puppy/dog. We reserve the right to have any diagnosis verified by our veterinarian before replacing with one from another litter when available. (This guarantee is for replacement of puppy/dog of same sex and approximately equal value). Purchaser is responsible for shipping expenses to return the puppy/dog to breeder and in addition purchaser agrees to pay for shipping expenses for replacement dog.

Exceptions: The following common conditions do not constitute an unhealthy puppy and are easily treated by your veterinarian.

Common Conditions:

Internal or external parasites, transient diarrhea and digestive upsets, allergies or any conditions preventable and/or treatable by the buyer, including, but not limited to injury, exhaustion, hypoglycemia, or any other stress related condition will not be warranted.

We do the utmost to correctly identify the color and size that your puppy should be when fully grown. No guarantee is given to adult size, conformation, color or markings.

My Dogs are sold as pets, intended for companionship, with no guarantees as to breeding soundness.

Veterinarian bills and all other debts regarding this puppy is the responsibility of the purchaser.

To validate this guarantee, the purchaser must have this puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of purchase. If the veterinarian certifies in writing that the puppy has a serious incurable health problem or defect, the puppy and the written veterinarian statement must be returned to breeder within 72 hours of purchase.

Should you neglect to take your puppy to a veterinarian for this examination within the time specified you accept immediate and full responsibility for it's health and this guarantee is null and void and renders this sale "AS IS" and NO WARRANTIES WILL APPLY.

Providing adequate medical care including heartworm preventative, Flea/Tick program
and yearly vaccinations is a must.

6. The Purchaser agrees that a puppy with limited registration will be spayed or neutered by the time he/she reaches six months of age and provide Seller with proof from a licensed veterinarian.

7. The Purchaser agrees to maintain the puppy in good condition, including a good age appropriate diet, immunizations, socialization, and a clean and safe environment.

8. If at anytime the Purchaser can no longer care for this puppy for any reason the Seller will take the puppy back for placement into a new home. At the time the puppy is returned, all pedigrees and registrations are to be returned for puppy placement to a new home. The Purchaser further agrees to NEVER sell the puppy to a puppy mill, pet store, or place in a shelter.
